02-2025 - Interview on France Culture about DAS Technology

France Culture - La Science, CQFD

I had the pleasure of being interviewed on the French public radio France Culture for their science program, “La Science, CQFD”.

In this segment, we discuss the groundbreaking potential of Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS) technology and how it is revolutionizing seafloor instrumentation. We explore how existing fiber optic cables can be turned into dense arrays of sensors to monitor earthquakes, ocean dynamics, and other environmental processes.

You can listen to the interview (in French) starting at minute 41 in the podcast linked below.
