We are proud to share that the PhD research of our student, Amine Mohammedi, has been featured in the online magazine Oceans Connectés.
The article, titled “Les câbles sous-marins à fibre optique transformés en sentinelles de l’océan” (Underwater fiber optic cables transformed into ocean sentinels), highlights Amine’s work on using Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS) as a new frontier for continuous and real-time ocean monitoring.
This feature underscores the innovative potential of using existing telecommunication infrastructure to better understand our oceans.
